LotsBlog Pricing Explained: Plans, Pay as You Go and Credits

LotsBlog costs $9 per blog per month with no subscription, or a plan: Starter is $24 a month for 3 blogs, Pro is $69 for 10 and Business is $159 for 30. Every plan and pay as you go include the same features: unlimited posts, page views and authors, a custom domain for each blog, the MCP server and REST API, scheduling, analytics and team collaboration. You pay for the number of blogs, not for traffic or articles.

This page explains what each option covers, what it costs at different numbers of blogs, what happens when you go over a plan, and what isn't included. Prices were checked on 7 October 2026 against the live pricing page.

What every LotsBlog plan includes

Hosting and publishing are included in every plan and in pay as you go. The features are the same everywhere:

  • Unlimited posts, page views and authors.
  • A custom domain for every blog.
  • The MCP server and REST API, so ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP agent (or your own code) can operate the blog.
  • Drafts, previews, scheduling and unpublish.
  • A private Markdown guide your agent follows.
  • Topics, images and a media library.
  • SEO metadata, structured data and sitemaps.
  • llms.txt and a Markdown copy of every post, plus an RSS feed.
  • Blog appearance settings, an analytics dashboard and team collaboration.

Plans differ only in how many blogs they cover and the price of extra blogs. Starter has email support, and Pro and Business have priority email support.

Yearly billing is two months free: $240 for Starter, $690 for Pro and $1,590 for Business. You can cancel anytime, and nothing is deleted if you cancel.

An extra blog costs the same as an included one on your plan, so you're never pushed up a tier just to add a blog. The bigger the plan, the cheaper each blog.

What it costs at 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 and 30 blogs

Monthly prices at list rates:

BlogsLowest-cost option on LotsBlogMonthly cost
1Pay as you go$9
2Pay as you go$18
3Starter$24
5Starter plus 2 extra blogs at $8$40
10Pro$69
15Pro plus 5 extra blogs at $6.90$103.50
30Business$159

The rule of thumb: one or two blogs, pay as you go. Three or more, take a plan.

How pay as you go and credits work

Pay as you go uses LotsTech Credits instead of a subscription. Credits cost $1 for 1,000, with a $10 minimum purchase. Each blog costs 9,000 credits a month, which is $9, charged daily for the blogs you hold. Purchased credits never expire, and they work across LotsTech products, so the same balance can pay for a LotsSocial or LotsTeam account.

Every new account gets 10,000 free credits, valid for 90 days, with no card. That's enough to run one blog for a month. It's a credit grant, not a subscription trial, so there's nothing to cancel.

What happens if you go over your plan

If you create more blogs than your plan covers, the extra blogs are paid from your credits automatically, at your plan's own per-blog rate: $8 a month on Starter, $6.90 on Pro and $5.30 on Business, charged daily. There's no consent switch to flip. Free credits are used first, then purchased credits.

If your credits run out, the uncovered blogs pause. Nothing is deleted, and public pages stay readable. New publishing and other paid actions on a paused blog resume when you top up or move to a bigger plan.

What costs extra

  • The optional article quality check. An independent review of intent, evidence, usefulness and structure. It's paid from credits, and the cost depends on the article's length and the model's input and output, so there's no fixed price. It's never required to publish.
  • Your AI agent. LotsBlog doesn't write your articles. ChatGPT, Claude or whichever agent you use does, on its own plan, which is separate from LotsBlog.

There's no charge for traffic, posts or authors.

Which option should you pick?

  • One blog, or you're trying it: pay as you go, starting with the 10,000 free credits.
  • Two blogs: pay as you go at $18, or Starter at $24 if a third blog is coming.
  • A few blogs, or a small portfolio: Starter (3), Pro (10) or Business (30), whichever covers the number you run.
  • Agencies and many blogs: Business at 30 blogs has the lowest price per blog.

Common questions

How much does LotsBlog cost?

$9 per blog per month with pay as you go, or plans from $24 a month: Starter covers 3 blogs, Pro covers 10 and Business covers 30. Yearly billing is two months free.

How much does an extra blog cost on a plan?

$8 a month on Starter, $6.90 on Pro and $5.30 on Business. Extra blogs are paid from your credits automatically, charged daily, at the same rate as the blogs your plan includes.

Is there a free trial?

New accounts get 10,000 free credits, valid for 90 days, with no card. That's enough to run one blog for a month. It's a credit grant rather than a plan trial.

Does LotsBlog charge for page views or posts?

No. Posts, page views and authors are unlimited on every plan and on pay as you go. You pay for the number of blogs.

Can I use my own domain on every plan?

Yes. A custom domain for every blog is included on every plan and on pay as you go. You set the DNS records at your own DNS provider, and your agent can check that they verify.

Is the REST API included, or only the MCP server?

Both are included on every plan and on pay as you go. There's no separate developer tier.

What happens if my credits run out?

Any blog not covered by a plan pauses. Nothing is deleted and public pages stay readable. Top up credits or choose a plan to resume publishing.

Do I pay for ChatGPT or Claude separately?

Yes. LotsBlog hosts, publishes and manages your blog, and your agent's own plan pays for the writing. They're separate.
